Business Improvement Grant Program

In a bid to boost local economic development and fuel the entrepreneurial spirit within our community, Bute BID is thrilled to announce the launch of a new Business Improvement Grant program. This initiative aims to provide financial assistance to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) seeking to enhance their operations and contribute to a vibrant local economy.  Preference will be given to applications that use local suppliers.

The Business Improvement Grants are designed to support a variety of projects, including but not limited to:·

 

  • Infrastructure Upgrades: Enhancing physical spaces to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.

  • · Technology Implementation: Adopting new technologies to streamline operations and increase competitiveness.

  • · Sustainability Projects: Initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact and promoting sustainable business practices.

  • · Marketing and Branding: Efforts to expand market reach and strengthen brand presence. Eligibility and Application Process.

 

Eligible businesses must be located within the Isle of Bute and meet certain criteria, including:

· Is within the Isle of Bute BID Boundary.

· Is paying the BID Levy or an Associate Membership fee.   

· Is up to date with their BID Levy payments.

 

The grant will close when the full budget of £20,000 has been exhausted.
