Dog fouling continues to be an issue in our area, and following a recent meeting with the Council team, residents and businesses are being encouraged to “report everything.”

We met with the Council team last week to discuss the ongoing concerns, and their message was clear: reporting incidents helps them build a better picture of the problem and identify where action may be needed.

If you spot an issue with dog fouling, please report it to the Council on 01546 605514.

The Council team also took the opportunity to visit the town while they were here, calling into several local businesses that have experienced problems. They spoke with businesses directly to better understand the issues and discuss the details of what has been happening.

We’re also looking at ways we can help reduce dog fouling locally, including the possibility of additional signage in problem areas.
